Kara was born in 2012, following the import from the Tirol of her mother, Maxmara, who was in foal with her in 2011. She boasts a champion pedigree, with her father being the world champion and premium stallion, liz 350/T Stainz, and her maternal grandfather, the three-time world champion, liz 200/T Abendstern. Kara is a remarkable horse, carrying the legacy of excellence in her lineage.
Kara's pedigree is truly remarkable, showcasing a lineage of world champions. On her father's side, she boasts the premium stallion liz 201/T Standschutz, while her mother's side features the illustrious Tirolean stallion liz 101/T Amadeus as her great grandsire. This exceptional heritage speaks volumes about her potential and capabilities.
Kara has enjoyed a remarkable career in the show ring, securing wins in World Breeds, Foreign Breeds, and Haflinger classes on a national level. She proudly holds the title of Haflinger champion at both the prestigious Royal Windsor and Royal Three Counties shows. Her achievements reflect her exceptional talent and alignment to the breed.
Kara is truly a remarkable Mum, and we couldn't be prouder of her achievements with both her son and daughter. Her son, Otztaler Samalfi, is blossoming into an exceptional riding horse under his new owner's care, he is by our imported stallion GB61 Sultan. Meanwhile, her daughter, Otztaler Maliha, is growing into a stunning mare, ready to make her mark in the world, she is sired by the handsome stallion GB68 Hobart Socrates.
Kara has welcomed a second daughter in 2026, the very beautiful Otztaler Matilda. Matilda's father is the young Austrian stallion liz Amino who is owned by friends of ours in the Netherlands. With her exceptional paces and an unbeatable temperament, Tilly is already showing immense promise for the future!
