Summer was purchased from the foal sale in Austria in 2021, arriving as a 9-month-old. She is sired by the remarkable stallion liz 542/T Manhattan and out of the exceptionally versatile mare 18834/T Solly. With her impressive lineage, Summer is a wonderful addition to the Otztaler team.
Summer was inspected in 2024 and exceeded all expectations. She received the highest marks of any filly in Great Britain since the introduction of the new grading system 12 years ago. This remarkable achievement saw her awarded the illustrious British Elite mare status and is a testiment to her exceptional qualities
Summer's remarkable achievements continued as she awarded the Youngstock Champion at the Haflinger National Show in 2024. Her exceptional performance also earned her the prestigious title of Overall Supreme National Reserve Champion that same year. These accolades highlight her outstanding quality and pedigree
In 2025, she made her triumphant return to the show ring at the National show, this time competing in the senior classes. Once again, she exceeded all expectations, clinching victory in the Novice Mare class and earning the title of Best Mare of the Show and Best of the Opposite Sex to the Champion in the senior championship. Her impressive performance saw her only edged out by two stallions, solidifying her status as a formidable competitor.
