Our second Scottish baby has arrived !! Having brought Kira in from the field at around 6ish she decided she'd waited long enough and a week early at a very respectable 7pm (thank you Kira - no sitting up until the early hours !!) on Thursday 22nd May our latest addition to the Otztaler family arrived into the world.

Cody is out of the first of our home bred mares Otztaler Sakira (it's so exciting to have the second generation of the Otztaler family) and by the fabulous stallion Oxnead Windsor (see Windy on both the Silvretta and Haflinger GB websites).

It looks like Cody is going to be a big lad with legs already longer than his Mum's !! His Aunty Santana is already waiting patiently to play with him having been next door when he was born. At the moment Mum is a bit wary of letting him anywhere near strangers but give it a couple of weeks and we'll sure she'll be begging to hand him over to baby sitters !!!
